The story of ReptiKing GmbH began with a simple yet clear vision: to provide reptile keepers with access to high-quality products, reliable service, and honest advice. What started as a small, passionate project has evolved over the years into a major player in the Swiss terrarium hobby. Driven by a personal enthusiasm for reptiles, amphibians, and their proper care, ReptiKing grew steadily. Kurt May founded ReptiKing GmbH in 2012. Over time, the product range expanded continuously: high-quality feeder insects, frozen food, terrarium equipment, accessories, and select brand-name products became integral parts of the offerings. After many years of experience, a deep passion for the business, and with retirement approaching, ReptiKing GmbH sought a new owner. Leon Mitsch, a long-time reptile keeper and self-employed carpenter, recognized the opportunity to take over the company. However, since both the system and the inventory were outdated, Leon sought a co-owner with extensive experience in online retail and marketing. That's how I, Florina Tschudi, became a part-owner of ReptiKing GmbH. I bring many years of experience in online retail, marketing, and import/export trade in accordance with the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES). As a dealer in bone preparation, I've always had the idea of ​​combining terrarium setups with aesthetically pleasing and lifelike elements. The combination of perfection and visual appeal—with natural plants, roots, and stones in combination with realistic, genuine skulls—has always been a key focus for me. So Leon and I decided to embark on a new path together with ReptiKing and take the world of terrariums and aquariums to a new level.
