The Bright Sun UV Jungle is a powerful full-spectrum metal halide lamp with UVA and UVB radiation, specially designed for the species-appropriate husbandry of tropical and subtropical reptiles. It combines intense light, effective UV radiation, and natural heat in a single light source, thus ensuring optimal husbandry conditions in the terrarium.

Studies by Lucky Reptile have shown that rainforest and jungle reptiles prefer a slightly warmer daylight spectrum than desert species. The Bright Sun UV Jungle is therefore equipped with an adapted color temperature that closely resembles natural light in forested habitats. The pleasantly bright, natural light is very well received by the animals and promotes activity, feeding behavior, and a natural day-night rhythm.

The lamp provides effective UVB radiation to support vitamin D₃ synthesis and thus healthy bone growth. At the same time, it creates a localized heat source that enables targeted thermoregulation in the animals.
