Desert reptiles such as bearded dragons, spiny-tailed lizards, collared lizards, and other sun-loving species require high levels of UV-B radiation. The Arcadia D3+ Reptile Desert T5 UVB tube from Arcadia Reptile was developed precisely for these requirements.
With 12% UV-B and 30% UV-A, the tube effectively supports vitamin D3 synthesis, calcium metabolism, and healthy bone development. As a high-output (HO) T5 fluorescent tube with a full daylight spectrum (7,000 K), it simulates the bright, natural sunlight of desert regions. This allows the animals to display their vibrant colors and high activity levels.
Additionally, the Arcadia D3+ Reptile Desert promotes plant growth in desert terrariums. Like all UV lamps, this tube should be replaced after 12 months at the latest, as the UV output decreases over time.
