The coconut chips consist of pressed coconut chips formed into a compact brick. Before use, the brick is simply soaked in warm water, yielding approximately 8 liters of high-quality coconut chip substrate.
The substrate impresses with its high moisture retention, extreme resistance to rot, and consistently attractive appearance. Thanks to its coarse structure, the substrate remains airy, which contributes to improving the terrarium climate.
Coconut bark chips are ideal as substrate for snakes, tropical lizards and large tortoises and are guaranteed free of chemical additives.
