Calcium Sand is a high-quality terrarium and aquarium sand made from pure calcium carbonate. The crushed grain size of approximately 0.5 to 1.5 mm provides a natural texture and is ideal for various applications in terrariums and aquariums.

Due to its calcareous content, calcium sand contributes to the calcium supply and thus supports bone and shell development in reptiles. It is particularly popular for use in desert and arid terrariums.

This sand is also ideally suited for aquariums, especially for rays and other bottom-dwelling, burrowing fish. Its fine, rounded structure is gentle on sensitive skin and gills.
