Our miniature Drosophila come from the renowned breeder Bugs International and are therefore Made in Germany. Fresh deliveries arrive weekly on Monday mornings, guaranteeing the highest quality and vitality.

These are Drosophila hydei (flightless), ideal for safe feeding without escape. The fruit flies are supplied as a breeding culture in 500 ml or 1,000 ml containers.

Thanks to their size, these fruit flies are particularly well-suited as food for poison dart frogs, small lizards, mantises, and other insectivorous terrarium animals. They stimulate the animals' natural hunting instincts and are readily accepted.
